Manage high-risk pregnancies and improve outcomes for mother and baby as a graduate of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship.
What sets us apart?
Become an expert in the medical, surgical, obstetrical, fetal and genetic complications of pregnancy. Our progressive fellowship offers a balance of clinical experiences and research practice. Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellows benefit from working within our busy division, which sees over 3,800 deliveries per year, the majority of which are high-risk pregnancies. Trainees can also sharpen their skills as investigators and help to progress care for difficult pregnancies through research.
Train with leaders in the field
Our faculty are internationally renowned for their work in the management of fetal anomalies, prenatal diagnosis and fetal echocardiography.
Alfred Abuhamad, MD, Executive Vice President, Health Sciences and Dean of the School of Medicine, Mason C. Andrews Chair in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship, is leading that aims to identify early signs of pregnancy complications within the placenta.
