    Students led interprofessional teams to create and implement a pop-up clinic in the public housing communities of Norfolk, Virginia.
  • Let's All Take a Breath (Community-Engaged Research)
    Students participated in research assessing barriers to effective CEnR among public housing residents during the conduct of substance use research.
  • Medical French
    Students were trained and certified as French Speaking Physicians, then worked in clinics and with French-speaking communities to begin clinical outreach and engagement.
  • STI Focused Community Needs Assessment
    Students gathered, analyzed and reported on relevant community-focused data on sexually transmitted infects (STIs) to design a systematic needs assessment protocol.
  • Stop the Bleed
    Students taught local non-medical residents how to control traumatic bleeding during community outreach events and seminars.
  • Telehealth Access for All (TAFA)
    Students assisted and led efforts with public housing community residents to establish telehealth capacity.
