Mr. Escobales joined 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ in 2010 as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering Technology (CET), was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2016 and Master Lecturer in 2021. He teaches engineering fundamentals and structural design courses, and has been recognized as an Undergraduate Distinguished Teacher since 2021. He served as CET Program Director (2012–2019) and Materials Testing Laboratory Director (2011–2020).
With 12 years of prior industry experience, he specialized in structural analysis and design, collapse investigations, PEMB certification, and seismic/wind engineering for structures in ASCE 7 occupancy categories I–IV. He is proficient in 3D modeling using MBS, RISA, STAAD, RAM, ANSYS, and other tools, and applies U.S. codes and standards including AISC, ACI, AISI, ASCE 7, NDS and AWS.
A licensed Professional Engineer, Mr. Escobales advocates for licensure FE/PE and professional engagement. He is a member of ACI, AISC, and ICC.
