String, book by Sarah Hammond, music & lyrics by Adam Gwon, directed by Kate Clemons

In a world of cubicles and code, fate still pulls the strings鈥攍iterally.

Banished to a modern office tower after angering Zeus, the ancient Greek Fates now work in secret among mortals, spinning, measuring, and snipping the threads of life one by one, weaving the infinite tapestry of humanity.

Atropos, the by-the-book sister who cuts each thread at its destined end, takes pride in her precision鈥攗ntil a chance encounter with a kind-hearted security guard unravels her perfectly ordered world. As romantic sparks fly, the rules of the Universe fray, and her bond with her sisters pulls apart at the seams.

Smart, whimsical, and pulsing with heart, String is a contemporary musical that weaves myth, romance, and sisterhood into a tale about love, control, and what happens when the balance of the universe hangs by a single thread.

String is produced with the generous support of the Hellenic Studies Foundation.
