Course Information: This course is an introduction to the use of clay, also known as ceramics. It includes clay forming with pinch pots, slabs, coils and pottery wheels, advanced design theory and history.

Course Information:
A studio core course designed as an introduction to ceramics. Students will explore functional and sculptural techniques through handbuilding and wheel-throwing, as well as basic claybody, glaze and firing theory.
