The Institutional and Sponsored Research Requirements for Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR) have been updated based on changes to Federal requirements and is required by both NSF and NIH: Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR) Plan.
 
Of particular note: 
  • Responsible conduct of research training is now required at least once every 4 years
  • RECR also requires Research Security and Export Compliance training
  • Required training varies by career stage - starting at the undergraduate level
  • RECR training plans are required
