XRES logo

The XRES Virtual Reality Lab is a flexible, faculty-focused immersive learning environment designed to support the integration of extended reality (XR) technologies into both on-campus and online courses. Purposefully designed for teaching, research, and collaboration, the lab features 13 fully equipped workstations with Meta Quest 3 headsets, high-performance computing workstations, ergonomic furniture and accessories, and both seated and standing experience stations to accommodate a variety of instructional needs. Faculty also have access to a diverse library of pre-loaded immersive applications and experiences, creating opportunities to enhance student engagement, deepen understanding of complex concepts, and explore innovative approaches to teaching across disciplines.

Whether you are new to XR or looking to expand an existing course, our team is here to support you every step of the way. Faculty can collaborate with one of our experienced XR Instructional Designers to identify, evaluate, and integrate immersive experiences that align with their course objectives and departmental goals. We can also assist in researching and implementing additional XR applications tailored to your instructional needs, all within an accessible and inclusive learning environment.
