As part of the 50 & Forward celebration, 91ÖÆƬ³§ Libraries welcomed guests from the Monarch community and beyond as we recognized three decades of cinema and community—from the opening of Naro Expanded Video on Colley in 1996 to the Naro Video @ 91ÖÆƬ³§ Libraries collection located in Perry Library! The Libraries kicked off #NAROVIDEOTURNS30 events on July 30 at nearby Elation Brewing with a Naro Video Trivia Takeover, where attendees met the challenge of a special round of ‘90s movie trivia. We continued the celebration at Perry Library with seldom Naro Video items on display from July 31 - August 2, wrapping up the weekend with Snacks and Crafts in the Collection including ! Guests stretched their artistic talents by designing unique genre signs, while also recording video messages to share their connection to the Naro Video @ 91ÖÆƬ³§ Libraries collection (Perry Library, Room 1222).
